Lost In Random
A downloadable game for Windows
Lost In Random is a game that uses cellular automata to create a procedurally generated world.
General Information:
- Each room is completely random
- Defeating enemies increases the Boss Percentage (located in the bottom left of the screen). The Boss Percentage displays the likelihood that the next room will contain the final boss
- When dashing you are temporarily invincible
- Player Health and Coin amounts are located in the top left of the screen
- Rolling the die hidden throughout the world may result in the player receiving different Effects; acquired Effects are located on the right of the screen
- The color scheme of the game can be altered by changing the selected Palette from the pause menu
Effects:
Curses:
- No More Freebies: dashing costs money
- Bloodthirsty Bats: bats are more aggressive
- Buffed Boss: the final boss is more powerful
- Weakened: player health is halved
Blessings:
- Health Affinity: healing pools no longer cost money and they appear slightly more often
- Grenadier: explosive rounds and a bomb is placed when dashing
- Boss Hunter: Boss Percentage increases at a faster rate and the final boss begins the fight damaged
- Hearty: player health is increased
